Oats are one of the healthiest grains available. use this oats bran to add wholesome fibres to any food, like soups and casseroles, simply add enough liquid (around 3 times) to let it swell in cooking. You can also add it to many baking recipes.
Why oats are good for you?
Oats are high in potassium, have useful amounts of calcium and are also a fair source of protein whilst being high in both soluble and insoluble fibre (great for healthy digestion and proven to help lower cholesterol). They are also moderately rich in B vitamins, B1, B2 and especially inositol, and their carbohydrates provide a long slow delivery of energy to our systems.
These Organic Oat Bran are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
