About Organic Incan/Cape/Golden Berries

These Incan/Cape/Golden Berries are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.

What does a Golden Berry taste like?

These bright, orange-coloured fruits are closely related to the tomatillo and are slightly smaller than cherry tomatoes. They have a sweet, tropical taste somewhat resembling pineapple and mango. Often people will enjoy them as a snack or in salads, sauces or jams.

I hadn't even heard of Incan Berries - and know they go by some different names - but they're a great alternative to raisins and sultanas. They have a much sharper taste, so you won't want quite as many of them as you might raisins, but they really add something to a dried fruit / nut mix - and they have a cool name, too!!!
