Goji berries are also known as Wolfberries, Lycium berries and Gou Ji Zi berries. They have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries.
Introduced into Britain in the 1700s by the Duke of Argyll, they continue to grow wild in hedgerows today!
Are goji Berry good for you?
Goji Berries are high in antioxidants, carotenoids and vitamin C, they are also rich in vitamins B1, B2, B6 and E, amino acids and contain trace minerals (including zinc, iron and copper).
These Goji Berries are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
