Fresh cranberries come from Cranberry plants - dwarf evergreen low growing vines.
As cranberry are hard and sour when picked straight from the shrub they are they usually processed in some way before they are eaten.
Our cranberries are dried and sweetened with small amounts of cane sugar. making them perfect for baking or adding sweetness to muesli or porridge. Try them in muffins, flapjacks, or cake, to give your recipes added antioxidants and superior flavours.
What are the benefits of dried blueberries?
Dried cranberries contain the same nutrients as fresh ones, mainly dietary fibre and antioxidants: these fruits contain significant amounts of anthocyanins, antioxidant compounds that give blue, purple and red colours to fruits and vegetables.
