About Organic Rye Grain

These Organic Rye Grain are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.

A really versatile grain - I make sure I always have a ready supply of this rye grain in my store cupboard, It has so many uses if you are trying to avoid wheat.

Brilliant as a porridge (e.g. with or without oats, topped with some tahini) or as a risotto base.  And so good for you!!

I tried the spelt grain salad recipe using rye grain instead of spelt and it was really yummy.
