I think I heard Real Foods were one of the first UK companies to import Bombay Mix - not sure if that's true - but they certainly sell a good quality one. They also offer a spicier version. Bombay mix isn't quite as healthy as some snacks you can get on here, but I think it gives you an immediate energy boost like no other. It also has the bonus that you don't really get tired of it. A warning though - it will leave you feeling quite full up!

Bombay Mix is a delightful and versatile snack that has earned its place in my snack cupboard. Its diverse flavors, textures, and spices make it a satisfying treat for any occasion. Whether you're snacking on it, using it as a topping, or sharing it with friends, Bombay Mix is a flavorful and budget-friendly choice. I recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and unique snack.

One of the standout features of Bombay Mix is its exciting variety of flavors and textures. In a single handful, you'll encounter crispy fried noodles, roasted peanuts, crunchy lentils, savory spices, and a hint of heat from the chili. This mix is a flavor explosion, offering a delightful balance of salty, spicy, and savory tastes that can be quite addictive.

Proper Bombay mix like I haven't had in years. Lots of peanuts and lentils. No raisins (whoever thought that was a good idea anyway), and none of that rancid tasting big fat noodles that you get in cheaper/supermarket mixes. Absolutely beautiful - I could live on it.

The contrasting textures in Bombay Mix are part of what makes it so enjoyable. The crunchy noodles and lentils provide a satisfying crunch, while the roasted peanuts add a buttery richness. It's this blend of textures that keeps you reaching for more.

The mix of spices used in Bombay Mix is where it truly shines. The blend of cumin, coriander, turmeric, and other spices creates a complex and flavorful profile. It's not overly spicy but has a subtle warmth that enhances the overall taste.

A friend more or less forced me to try this against my better judgement. I was very pleasantly surprised. A really tasty, crunchy snack that does a great job in supporting blood sugar levels when you start to get that afternoon dip.

Bombay Mix is not just a snack; it's a versatile ingredient. I've used it as a crunchy topping for salads and soups, as well as a unique addition to rice dishes. It adds a burst of flavor and texture to any dish it's sprinkled on.

Bombay Mix is usually reasonably priced, offering excellent value for the variety and quantity you receive. It's an affordable snack or ingredient that can be enjoyed by individuals and shared at gatherings.

By Ethan Mitchell on 14/05/2023

The packaging typically comes in a resealable bag or container, which is convenient for keeping the mix fresh. The clear packaging allows you to see the mix inside, so you know exactly what you're getting.

This bombay mix should come with a warning - once you start eating a packet it is really hard to stop until the packet is empty. Delicious.
