Kamut is a hard spring wheat with a rich, buttery flavour and chewy texture.
It can be served hot with rice or cold as a marinade in salads. To prepare: Pre-soak the grains overnight then cook 2-3 parts water to one part barley and simmer for 40-45 minutes.
Sprout our Organic Kamut grain into Kamut berries that can be eaten whole in salads, raw muesli or to make Essene bread, and grow further to produce Kamut grass for juicing, in a similar way to wheatgrass.
Check out Guide to Grains for more information.
