Tandoori originally referred to cooking food by slow-roasting it in a clay oven, or tandoor. In the West, Tandoori has come to mean a specific flavour rather than a method of cooking.
Even if you do not have a clay oven or pot, you can use this seasoning to make Tandoori-style dishes. Use it directly, by adding it to your ingredients, or mix with plain yoghurt for a marinade.
These Tandoori Mix are available in a range of sizes, all packed in Plastic Free packaging. We use plant-based cellulose bags for these products. Cellulose Plastic Free packaging is biodegradable, simply scrunch up to create air pockets and add to your home compost. It will take around 1-2 months to biodegrade. Or it can be added to general waste, it will break down into vegetable matter.
