About Mango Diced with SO2 added sugar

The manufacturers of Mango Diced with SO2 added sugar have stated that the packaging is free from plastic.

Mango is rich in vitamin C and vitamin A. It also has traces of Vitamin E, Vitamin B and Vitamin K.

The dulcet, juicy insides of the mango pack a nutritional punch. Its characteristic orange colour is a clue to its storehouse of beta carotene (Vitamin A).

Ripe mangoes hold the highest levels of beta carotene, while green mangoes are higher in Vitamin C.

Eat these as they are, straight from the packet as a snack, or chop them and soak them to soften them a little to use in baking.

I add these mango pieces to my breakfast muesli for a treat at the weekend - just a small handful because of the added sugar, but they do make a splendid treat.
